Frogstone Grill

My wife and i ate there last night and the service was awful. They didnt get 1 of our orders correct. And when the food came it was cold i will not be eating there again.

One of the best in Coquitlam, both food wise and service wise.
We go there once a month.

They used to have a very good team of servers. For some odd reasons, their current servers are either idiots or rude!?!

Anyways, Texas Refrigerator is my favorite. Ribs are NO-NO. very dry. Just don't order them.

Everything else is fantastic Pasta, appetizers, sandwiches, ...

We never tried their sea food though.

I have recently been checking reviews for local restaurants and noticed that people tend to hurry up and write all the negative things but tend to forget when they have a good meal. so I wanted to take the time to rave about the great experience I had this last weekend at frogstone grill. We sat in the lounge on saturday night and had a wonderful time. Our waitress was very personable and friendly and the food tasted great and to top it off they had great live music! Why head downtown for a good meal when gems like this is here in coquitlam!

I went to meet a friend for dinner there but was running late and she was not there when I arrived. I asked the hostess if there had been someone waiting. She checked with others and indicated that my friend probably had not arrived. I asked to use their phone to call her as my cell phone had lost it's charge. She refused stating it was not a public phone. I left to find a public phone and after contacting my friend, phoned the manager to explain the situation and their lack of costumer service. The manager said,

The food and service was great, but one of the managers is terrible. He declined repeat business from a group of 18 and made the waitress cry. He has no people skills, insulted his staff and damaged his employers reputation.

We visited the Frogstone Grill this past weekend for the second time. The first time we were there unfortunatly there was a mix up with my food but overall everything was fine. A very nice gentilman gave us a gift card for our next visit which was very nice. We returned this past Friday and had a FANTASTIC time. Our waitress, Sheena was knowledgeable about the menu and so friendly she made the little bit of a wait for our food fly by. I had a dish called hunter chicken which was delicious. The live music was a great treat, Warren is fantastic. I am so happy that we tried frogstone again and will be back again soon. Don and Susan

Four of us were at restaurant in Coquitlam, BC on 9/11/07 during my Vancouver visit. Altho food was good, service was horrendous. Had to wait 1/2 hr. for waitress named Cassandre to bring bill, in spite of our waving to get her attention. She did see us as restaurant was fairly empty with only one other table occupied at 13o p.m. She just ignored us when she came to 2 tables behind us,even though we called out to her for the bill. We all decided that she did not deserve any tip, so I signed the charge without adding tip. Upon receipt of the credit card stm., saw that the charge is more than what I signed for, as she had added her own tip -something actually illegal as it was not an amount I had authorized. Have never seen this in my travels to different countries. So the good food more than offsets our bad experience with the service and this illegal act.

We've only been for lunch, but have enjoyed every meal we've had. Great selection, and delicious food.

Awesome restaurant. Very Original, excellent pasta

This is one of the best restaurants I have been to. The food is remarkable and really original, portions are great, and they even have live music every night (piano and jazz guitar, that kind of thing.) Tough to eat anywhere else once you have tried this place.
