Paros Taverna Restaurant Ltd

We love this restaurant the service & food is consistently good--The chef offers different menu items to further tempt our taste buds....We are frequent patrons ----We highly recommend Paros to our friends & family..........Rosemarie & Alan

i was there and had a wonderful meal and was having a great time when a paper plane struck my friend . the guy who through it said sorry and i figuired that was good , I then over heard this little fat man say to the friends he was with ha they may ask to talk to the manger but thats me he that this was a joke but it wrecked my night i left after paying my $100 bill feeling as though this guy had his way I will never go back and ask you to do the same thank you

I was there last week & I had their roasted lamb. It was nicely cooked, tender, & juicy. I would give it 8 out of 10.

I remembered Paros as being a good restaurant from when I lived on North Road 10 yrs ago.Used to like the lamb chops,half chicken and house dessert. Went last month (June 2007) and was very disappointed. It was not clean, the st aff wore jeans and we waited ++ for service. The worst disappointment was the food...greasy,bland, overcooked lukewarm lamb. When I cut into the lukewarm oven roasted potato it was black inside (a bad potato)so I sent it back and they were kind to offer a complimentary Sambucca but everything had taken so long we didnt stay for it. Our daughter's juice was warm.
It will be at least another ten years before we try Paro's again. They really need to clean it!

they are serving sirloin that is called tenderloin on the menu and they say they use butter when they use oil.
When I complained about it, the owner, Alex told me to leave or he would kick my ass.

As a former employee i may be a little biased, but the food there was quite good in general, with only slight exception at times. Plates were occasionally improperly cooked and eaten, but for the most part i have never heard a complaint.

HOWEVER there is a lot of health violations that occur to your food pre-serving, and i would be wary of eating there as a regular patron after this knowledge. Im sure it is nothing compared to other resteraunts.

As a former employee and frequent taster of greek foods, i give it a 75%

I love Greek food so I was looking forward to my trip to Crete this past fall.
The food there - very disappointing! Calamari poorly done with no tsatziki, lamb roast served with fries (!) likewise not tasty. Not to mention the ridiculously small portions. Guys at Paros, you beat the Cretan cooks hands down! Your calamari are the best I have ever tasted anywhere. Can't wait to come to your establishment again. Rudy.
