Woking Dragon

I've posted reviews on dinehere.ca about some another place we tried repeatedly to give them the benefit of the doubt since they had 40+ positive reviews. We gave up based on our experiences after 6x. So, we've been on the look-out for a good Chinese take-out in the Coquitlam area. The only way we learned about it was by receiving a flyer. Over the past couple of months have ordered from here 3x.

My husband and I are quite happy with this restaurant -- the phone service and level of understanding of our order is very good (and no substitutions/strange items we've received from other places), delivery time is good (35-45 min.), food is hot and tastes fresh (veggies are tender-crisp), food is not salty (we add little to no salt to our cooking), and fair portions and pricing.

We will continue to order from here. The only thing we're finding is the flavours aren't as strong as we're used to -- the wontons could use more spices, Singapore noodles - more curry powder and honey garlic pork -- more garlic. That said, we like strong flavours so it's a matter of taste. I recommend giving this place a try for take-out/delivery. We have yet to go in person.

On an aside, I can appreciate that the last reviewer had a bad experience and shared it, but I think it's inappropriate to generalize and conclude that previous postings were written by the owner because there's no way the food at this restaurant could have been good for anyone. This degrades the reviews by others and everyone's experience is valid.

We called at 8pm for delivery, it took an hour to arrive. Fine. But the food we got looked old and Overcooked. It tasted old, supersalty, and overcooked. Sooooo saltyyyy. It was by far the worst Chinese food ever! The worst flavors. Will add this to my blacklist of restaurants.

oh my gosh-my husband and I went to this restaurant for the first time and we were very impressed-the ambiance is so nice-the food was scrumptious-so good that we placed another order so we could have more the next night-highly recommend crispy beef strips(ginger) they are yummy- we will go every chance we get now!!!!

You will Love this restaurant! The food is amazing. This is easily the Best Chinese Food restaurant in the Tri-Cities.

It's a family favorite. The food was great. We're definetly comming back.
